Hatha Yoga for Stress Release - Tuesday 5:15 PM (Feb 18 - Mar 25)

A gentle beginner Hatha style class that will complement any other activity and help develop flexibility, strength and balance. Yoga practice will help ease tension and melt away stress. Leave each class feeling calm, centered and replenished. Enjoy a beautiful lake view and soft candlelight while you practice. No previous yoga experience needed and all levels welcome. Adaptations will be made for any body type and condition.

SHiNE + UPLIFT - Monday 7:00 PM (Jan 6 - Mar 10)

Get the benefits of both SHiNE DANCE FITNESS and UPLIFT STRENGTH for a full-body workout that builds confidence and muscles! Class kicks off with high cardio dance routines to current hit music using easy-to-follow choreography crafted by SHiNE. Once you are fully warmed up, we transition to the strength portion of the class using hand weights, bands, and a ball to target specific muscles while rockin' out to the most iconic music.

Minds in Motion - Wednesday 10:30 AM (Jan 22 - Mar 12)

Minds in Motion® is a fitness and social program for people living with any form of early stage dementia along with a family member, friend or other care partner. Gentle exercises will be followed by social activities designed to be enjoyed in pairs. Coffee, tea and light refreshments are provided. Care partners must attend. The program is offered in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of B.C.

Gourmet Plant Based:Pad Thai with Tofu - Tuesday 6:00 PM (Mar 11 - Mar 11)

Come and learn the principles and secrets of the plant-based kitchen including the importance of vegan protein in your dishes. Easier than expected! As a community kitchen we will cook, eat and clean up together. Be transported to the aromas of the Thai kitchen with native ginger, garlic, lime, cilantro and basil, plus the fire of chili paste & sriracha and the intoxicating flavor of tamarind…Experience how taste can be infused into a very bland ingredient like tofu and exercise simple methods like marinating and stir-frying.
