Ticket Information Utilization Bylaw

This bylaw designates those City Bylaws which may be enforced under the municipal ticket information (MTI) system. It sets the fines for the offenses and designates the officials entitled to enforce each of the bylaws. Some of the bylaws included in the MTI system are Building Bylaw No. 7245, Business Licence and Regulation Bylaw No. 7878, Fire Prevention Regulation Bylaw No. 6110, Traffic Bylaw No. 8120, Parks and Public Spaces Bylaw No. 6819, Zoning Bylaw No. 8000, Sign Bylaw No. 8235 and Solid Waste Management Bylaw No. 10106.

Nuisance Trees and Shrubs Bylaw

The City of Kelowna Nuisance Trees and Shrubs Bylaw sets out the regulations for nuisance trees, shrubs, hedges or bushes, to provide for their control, and to provide for the recovery of the cost of their control from the owner of the property from which such nuisance tree, shrub, hedge or bush is growing, where the owner does not comply with instructions to eliminate such nuisance.

Plumbing Regulation Bylaw

The Plumbing Regulation Bylaw sets out the permits and inspections required when constructing, altering or repairing plumbing systems within City limits. It also sets out standards for site drainage, water service lines, installation of plumbing fixtures and installing water meters.

Mobile Home Parks Bylaw

The Mobile Home Parks bylaw sets out the regulations regarding the establishment, extension, design and servicing of trailer parks. Provisions are made for permit requirements, park design and layout standards, recreation areas, roadways, access, water supply, sewage systems and disposal, garbage disposal, fire hydrants and street lighting.

Animal and Poultry Regulation and Animal Pound Bylaw

This bylaw regulates the keeping of horses, mules, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs and other farm animals within the City. The bylaw also provides for the establishment of an animal pound and the appoint of a poundkeeper to impound animals that are running at large.
