Quilchena Park
Quilchena Park is a family-friendly community park nestled in the Village of Kettle Valley. The park was rebuilt following the devastating Okanagan Mountain Park fire in 2003. It now features an extensive playground with multiple slides including a tunnel slide down the hill and a splash park perfect for younger kids. With plenty of green space, landscaping, trails, and benches plus pickleball and tennis courts, it’s a great spot to spend the day.
Parkinson Recreation Park
About the Park
Parkinson Recreation Park is a multi-use space featuring six grass fields, six tennis courts, 12 pickleball courts, the Apple Bowl Stadium and walking and biking trails along Mill Creek.
Priest Creek Linear Park
Consisting of a trail and three bridges which allow for pedestrian, cyclist and equestrian access, Priest Creek Linear Park offers access into Myra Bellevue Provincial Park. This area is rich in western red cedar and cottonwood trees, alongside plants such as the devil's club, skunk cabbage and red raspberry. A unique riparian (creek-side) ecosystem is apparent when trekking through the area.
Ponds Community Park
The Ponds Park & Trail offers over two kilometres of newly paved trail with excellent views of Okanagan Lake and the city. This trail is flat and accessible to everyone, including those on motorized scooters or in wheelchairs. Bring the kids to enjoy the park and playground that overlooks the city. Dogs can come too, just make sure they are on a leash.
