Knox Mountain Park

Knox Mountain Park is Kelowna’s largest natural area park, spanning 385 hectares located just north of downtown, and open to the public from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily.

Vehicles are typically allowed on Knox Mountain Drive up to the first lookout daily from 12 - 8 p.m. during the frost-free season. The road may close during special events, operational work, or heightened wildfire risk.

Knowles Heritage Park

This small but lush park in one of Kelowna’s oldest areas is a perfect little getaway. During the spring and summer months, stop and smell the roses, literally. Take a rest on the park benches and take in the vibrant rose bushes and flower gardens that surround the entrance to the park. The park is located next to the historic Knowles House, built in 1908 and named after the Knowles family. James Bacon Knowles was a civic leader and community builder and established the first jewelry store in Kelowna on Bernard Avenue which operated until 1938.
