Installation of additional crosswalks and curb extensions at intersection of Quigley Rd and Kitch Rd construction scheduled for Summer 2025. This project is part of the safe routes for school program and is part of the ongoing investments by the City to achieve the goals within the Transportation Master Plan (TMP), Official Community Plan (OCP), Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan (PBMP), and others. Making walking a safer, more comfortable, and viable way to travel through Kelowna supports long-term goals around protecting our environment, promoting inclusive transportation, and improving community health.
