Karate Shotokan - Adult & Youth - All Levels - Wednesday 7:30 PM (Jan 15 - Mar 12)

Karate is great for self-defense, general fitness, or just build your self-confidence. This low-contact class will help you develop flexibility, coordination, fitness, and a variety of other mental and physical benefits. We believe in starting where you're at, and building off of that. Training both nights is recommended, but not mandatory.

Karate Adult Youth Inter/Adv at Bankhead - Thursday 6:45 PM (Jan 16 - Mar 6)

Karate will introduce you to basic skills learned in martial arts such as self-discipline, coordination, confidence, mental and physical conditioning and respect.Jushinkan is a recognized style association that comes from traditional Shotokan and focuses not just on the style of our teaching but the true principals of the art itself. This class is for those with some experience. Achievements from other styles of karate are honored. Training two nights per week is recommended for maximum results.( Blue belts and above.)

Karate Adult Youth Inter/Adv at Bankhead - Tuesday 6:45 PM (Jan 14 - Mar 4)

Karate will introduce you to basic skills learned in martial arts such as self-discipline, coordination, confidence, mental and physical conditioning and respect.Jushinkan is a recognized style association that comes from traditional Shotokan and focuses not just on the style of our teaching but the true principals of the art itself. Swimmer 9 – Star Patrol - Saturday 11:00 AM (Jan 18 - Mar 15)

Star Patrol challenges swimmers with a 300m timed swim, 600m workout and a 25m object carry. Strokes are continued to be refined. Lifesaving skills include use of rescue aids, defense methods, victim removals and supporting a victim in shallow water. First aid focuses on treatment of bone or joint injuries and respiratory emergencies. Once complete, swimmers register into Bronze Star.
