Mobile Business Licence Scheme

The Inter-Community Mobile Business Licence Bylaw establishes authorizes participating municipalities to permit certain kinds of businesses to operate across municipal jurisdictions within the province while minimizing the need to obtain a separate municipal business licence in each jurisdiction. This does not cover social escort services, body-rub services or taxis, limos or buses.

Second Hand Dealer and Pawnbroker Regulation Bylaw

The Second Hand Dealer and Pawnbroker Regulation Bylaw sets out the licensing requirements for pawnbrokers and second hand dealers; outlines the information that must be recorded with respect to the person pawning the goods; and how pawned goods must be recorded, stored, and reported to the RCMP. The bylaw also provides for the inspection of the business premises and sets time limits for the disposal of pawned goods.
