The Activity Centre in Mission is more that a building. It's a social hub for community, bringing people together to learn, move, grow, and celebrate. The all-ages Activity Centre in Mission will feature 91 childcare spaces with support through the provincial ChildCareBC New Spaces Fund, with the potential for spaces in Rutland as well.

Parkinson Recreation Centre is more than a building. It's a place for people to move, grow, thrive, learn, and belong. The Apple Bowl track is open daily 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.  for public use, except under the following conditions:

The Apple Race Series includes two staple sporting events in Kelowna including the Apple Triathlon and the Kelowna Marathon. Both events will return to Kelowna in 2024 after a four-year hiatus due to complications related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of the City’s 2024 budget deliberations, Council endorsed funding for the City to take a lead role in re-establishing and stabilizing the Apple Race Series over the next three years.
