This small but lush park in one of Kelowna’s oldest areas is a perfect little getaway. During the spring and summer months, stop and smell the roses, literally. Take a rest on the park benches and take in the vibrant rose bushes and flower gardens that surround the entrance to the park. The park is located next to the historic Knowles House, built in 1908 and named after the Knowles family. James Bacon Knowles was a civic leader and community builder and established the first jewelry store in Kelowna on Bernard Avenue which operated until 1938.
