<p>NeighbourWoods is a residential planting initiative that encourages Kelowna citizens to help grow\u{202F}and preserve our urban forest. This year’s remaining varieties include the Bur Oak, Greenspire Linden, Hot Wings® Tatarian Maple, Northern Acclaim Honeylocust, Ohio Buckeye and the Sugar Maple. </p>\r\n

<p>View the tree descriptions online and pre-order your tree(s) of choice online at <a data-msdyn-tracking-id="933e1d28c4d691725915029010" href="https://www.kelowna.ca/parks-recreation/urban-trees-wildlife/neighbourwoods">kelowna.ca/neighbourwoods</a>. To order online, residents must have an active online recreation account through <a href="https://rec.kelowna.ca/">rec.kelowna.ca</a>. Pre-orders can also be made by phone with a credit card at 250-469-8800. </p>\r\n

<p>The NeighbourWoods pick-up event will depend on the tree variety purchased and will either be September 25, 26 or 27. Residents can pick-up their tree on their tree’s respective pick-up date between 12 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Mission Recreation Park Arboretum, 4105 Gordon Drive. For those picking up more than one variety of tree, please pick-up on Friday, Sept. 27. Please bring your receipt (if applicable), proof of residency and a vehicle that’s appropriate for transporting your tree(s). </p>\r\n
