<p>Looking for a quiet space to unwind downtown? Take a step away from the hustle and bustle and into Kasugai Garden Park - one of the most unique parks in Kelowna.<br />\r\n

The garden was completed in 1987 to demonstrate the friendship and union between Kelowna and its <a href="https://www.kelowna.ca/our-community/about-kelowna/sister-cities" title="Sister Cities">sister city</a><a href="https://www.kelowna.ca/our-community/about-kelowna/sister-cities"> </a>in Kasugai, Japan. The park features traditional elements notable in Japanese gardens, such as stone lanterns, pine trees, waterfalls and a pond stocked with Koi. It is a beautiful integration of stone, pathways, plants and water.</p>\r\n
\r\n
<p>Kasugai Gardens is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Throughout the summer months the gardens will be open until 8 p.m.<br />\r\n
The park closes in the winter months starting in later October.</p>\r\n
\r\n

<strong>How to get there:</strong> The site is located within a walled enclosure and is not obvious from adjacent streets. It is located east of Kelowna City Hall, near the Queensway Transit Exchange.<br />\r\n
